Bongbong Marcos Camp To Robredo: Wait Until It’s Time For You To Say “Move On” To Yourself

Bongbong Marcos

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Vice President Leni Robredo’s camp advised  losing rival Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. recently to “move on” after prosecutors dismissed a criminal complaint his camp filed against poll officials. Lawyer Beng Sardillo, her spokesperson noted that the Manila city prosecutor dismissed the complaint against the officials of Commission on Elections (Comelec) and Smartmatic-Total Information Management (TIM) Corp. due to insufficient evidence. She highlighted that the camp of Marcos, with former Abakada Party-List Rep. Jonathan A. dela Cruz acting as complainant, failed to prove probable cause to charge the officials for allegedly altering computer data and tampering with the election results. Bongbong Marcos’ camp filed a motion for consideration citing that the altering itself without proper authorization is already illegal.

Prepare to Swallow Words

This particular evidence may not be favorable to Bongbong Marcos but it is still very premature to celebrate the victory for the Robredo faction. That’s only one of the issues discussed and many more complaints are about to be scrutinized by the Supreme Court.

Facts and the Truth can be Painful

Robredo’s group already know that the facts and the truth can be painful but is she ready to step down from the Vice-Presidency if ever? Just think how painful it could be before they have the guts to say anything to Bongbong Marcos. They just won’t know how to deal with the sudden rise and equally sudden fall from the top in a not so distant future – if they do not prepare themselves for it.

Robredo’s Group Should Know that the Tide has Turned

If Robredo’s group members are aware that the tide has already turned against them, they should be a bit humble now. Since they are still proud, that only shows that they have not accepted the fact that circumstances are against them as far as Philippine politics and the government are concerned.

Turning Point

Vice President Leni Robredo might still be wishing that she could hold on to the power that she is in now. Rest assured that Bongbong Marcos’ fight is still not over yet. If the Marcoses can bear waiting after 27 years for their family patriarch’s proper burial, waiting for the Marcos take-over to the Vice Presidency is just peanuts for them.
