[VIDEO]: PNP: National Day of Protest generally peaceful

The Liberal Party’s old-time trick to topple a leader does not work anymore. This is despite the blatant interference of the Catholic church. Priests and nuns even lead protests along the streets to allegedly stop the killings. However, they are barking on the wrong tree. Extra-Judicial Killings already exist prior to Marcos’ time. All unaccounted deaths are just blamed to the President without hard evidence.
Lead by Example
If the disunity in the nation is really about the anti and pro-Marcos sentiments, it is best to measure the characters of the political figures involved. VP Leni Robredo is always captured by the camera while criticizing Bongbong Marcos’ clan. What’s ironic is, the alleged offenses actually happened during his father’s regime. Robredo should take a look at the former Senator Marcos’ family values. That is why a fish is always caught in the mouth.
Democracy is Not One-Sided
The Filipino people are now aware that the late Cory Aquino’s kind of democracy is fake. Its continuous propaganda is carried out by LP politicians like Robredo and Risa Hontiveros. Not to mention Noynoy Aquino himself. They just throw muds at Ferdinand Marcos’ memory to discredit Bongbong Marcos without giving him the benefit of the doubt. Just in case they forgot, one is innocent until proven guilty at least in a democratic country.
The LP also questions why the President declares Sept 21. as the National Day of Protests. This proves that they really have a self-centered intention. They just want to highlight the accusations against the Du30 administration and are never interested what the other side has to say. The country is just lucky that it still has political leaders who are willing to sacrifice their reputation for the right leader to emerge in the near future. At this point in time, the President shows that his government has what it takes to discipline passionate Filipinos. They are capable of protesting in a generally peaceful way.
