The technical and legal team of Bongbong Marcos’ Camp reviewed the decrypted ballot images in Camarines Norte for a week after receiving them from the PET. They discovered a lot of discrepancies in the soft copies of ballots during the last election. Marcos pointed out in a press conference that his votes were either not counted or considered undervotes. There were more than three million undervotes in the vice presidential race,” he stressed. Marcos presented some images of ballots from polling precincts to prove that the voting was manipulated in favor of Vice President Leni Robredo. He assailed the presence of questionable squares and dots on his name.

Square Instead of Oval

Marcos questioned the existences of squares in the decrypted images which are oval in the actual ballots. Those were the spaces provided for voters to indicate the candidates that they voted. This is a new feature that the Comelec and Smartmatic added in the system. They did not inform the candidates of the presence of this feature in the images, he explained. He believes the Comelec should explain such anomaly. The substitution of the oval shapes in the ballot with squares in particular.

Undervotes in Robredo’s Favor

Marcos wondered why the votes in some precincts all votes went to Robredo even though two or more candidates were shaded in the ballots. These should be classified as undervotes. When it comes to our opponent, they counted for her the votes that were for the other candidates,” he added.

A Dot under Marcos’ Name

It is also very obvious that under Marcos’ name is a dot. This kind of vote is in the undervote count. Codes represent a command in the transmission of information. This is also a means of keeping the information secret. The letters and numbers are normally configured with dots and dashes in a digital program that can form a square.

Evidence of Digital Election Cheating

As obvious as it can be, Robredo insists that the impending recount of votes in connection with the electoral protest filed against her by Marcos would only affirm her victory in the May 2016 vice presidential race. She even denied Marcos’ allegation that they are delaying the process. Not satisfied, she also returned the blame on Marcos. Now, it is clear to him why PET let him pay for the decryption and give the copies to Robredo immediately while he is still waiting for the rest. Perhaps, they need some time to alter those records.

Never Forgotten

Unlike Robredo, the former Senator inspires Filipinos with their own sense of values. He stresses that the gallant SAF44 may be fallen but they are not forgotten. Their demise must remind the people that without the peace process, civil war is likely. Filipinos killing their own kind is the most painful thing to watch, he said. Marcos’ patriotism appeals to the public greatly, making Robredo the most hated VP as she continues to ruin the country’s image with her unfounded conclusions. February 2018 is a much-awaited event for the start of the recount.
