Bongbong Marcos’ Premiership via Federalism Discouraged by Enemies

Federalism

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The failure of the “EDSA Republic” through a revolt or mutiny was a factor for President Du30’s success. This is where the alleged democracy icon failed to act democratically for the people’s progress. Most Liberal Party actions are very undemocratic. But they continue to use democracy to mislead people without really understanding it. For one, the late Cory Aquino took the elected post of the late Ferdinand Marcos without winning the election. At this point, they fear Du30’s intention for Bongbong Marcos’s proclamation as the real VP  or possible premiership under the Federalism form of government.

Marcos’ Path

The President had not hidden his intention to follow in the footsteps of his hero, Ferdinand Marcos. He declares martial law with the same reason as the late Marcos. This is to save the country using martial rule. His enemies perceive this move as authoritarian. They tend to forget that the 1987 Constitution was revised by the late Aquino to prevent what they feared which includes LP media shutdown and persecutions of the country’s traitors like what VP Leni Robredo and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV are doing. Robredo for giving the wrong drug war data via the UN event and Trillanes’ embarrassing interview by the BBC.

Real Democracy

Politicians who are LP at heart are noted to make authoritarian decisions and not democratic. We can see this in the battle between the Congress and Supreme Court on the plight of the Ilocos 6 and Gov. Imee Marcos. Rep Rodolfo Fariñas initiates the case. The Governor retaliates in declaring him persona non grata in his own hometown. Robredo also makes lots of efforts in delaying Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest against her. If she is really for democracy, she will push for the recount at the soonest possible time to clear all doubts in her victory.

Federalism not Authoritarian Rule

The Philippines can never have an official authoritarian leader because of the fact that the Marcos patriarch and Du30 won through a democratic vote. Contrary to the speculations of the yellow fighters, the President is into Federalism and not the dictatorship. This is to make sure that all citizens of the Philippines are taken cared of by their own state and not through a centralized system like at the present time.

Bongbong Marcos as Prime Minister

Perhaps the LP is right that the President’s choice for Prime Minister or Vice President is Bongbong Marcos. This is being discouraged right now through the Liberal Party mechanisms. Unfortunately for them, today’s technology age already gives voice to the general public. They can never control the people’s sentiments via social media just by spreading misinformation about fake news.
