Albay 1st District Representative Edcel Lagman asks the Supreme Court to exhume Marcos’ remains from the Heroes’ Cemetery. Lagman even emails media organizations a document certifying that AFP regulations G 161-375 dated September 11, 2002 was not filed with the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR). The order issued by the DND is the basis of the definition of who are qualified to be interred at the Libingan. President Rodrigo Duterte’s basis of the Libingan guidelines to be the resting place for soldiers and presidents particularly. If this is the case, Lagman should also exhume all soldiers and presidents buried there. That’s him and his twisted mind. Did the media analyze his story?

No Ruling Then Good, It’s the President’s Sole Decision
He argued saying; “Prevailing jurisprudence underscores the absence of efficacy of administrative rules not registered with the ONAR. Since said AFP Regulation governing burials at the Libingan ng mga Bayani is not filed with the ONAR, no rights, privileges and obligations have accrued from said issuance or regulations. “Consequently, there is no law or issuance which qualifies Marcos to be interred in the Libingan ng mga Bayani,” he added. Well then it’s good so, the Commander in Chief can order what to do with it. Besides, it’s not the only order that defines such assignment.
Did they Examine President Elpidio Quirino’s Presidential Decree?
Established in 1947, Libingan ng mga Bayani was established by the Philippine government to commemorate the lives of the fallen Filipino soldiers who fought in World War II. Its existence was in accordance with Republic Act 289, which provides for “the construction of a national pantheon for presidents of the Philippines, national heroes, and patriots of the country.” The law, signed by President Elpidio Quirino, states that the cemetery is to commemorate the presidents, national heroes, and patriots, “for the inspiration and emulation of this generation and of generations still unborn,” as published by Rappler.
Did Lagman think He can fool the Filipinos? Anti- Bongbong Marcos Indeed.
Lagman’s action is really a proof that he has the perception that the Filipinos are a bunch of idiots that would just swallow hook line and then sink. He is very wrong in that aspect. He looks like a sole idiot now gallivanting around like a headless chicken. He’s one example of a politician who would even make a fool of himself just to stop the future presidency of Bongbong Marcos. That’s he’s ultimate goal.
Which Media Are Thinking?
Now, people would know which media would just publish stories that are not backed up by facts. These are the commercial media that will just write about what’s trending for money. Most of them do not advocate in educating or informing the public with the correct facts. They are often misleading and that’s the problem in the Philippines. Don’t be one of them.
