Du30 Supporters’ Election Cheating Claim vs Smartmatic Consistent with Bongbong Marcos Protest

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

The claim of the President’s supporters that Du30 should have 20 million votes instead of 16 million in the 2016 election is consistent with Bongbong Marcos’ electoral protest complaints against Leni Robredo. The alleged fraudulent acts of Smartmatic are already under consideration by the Supreme Court. This is due to the election protest of Bongbong Marcos against Vice President Leni Robredo.

[VIDEO]: Duterte Youth chairman Ronald Cardema says President Rodrigo Duterte should have gotten ‘more than 20M votes’ in the 2016 elections if not for alleged irregularities by Smartmatic.

Du30 Youth’s Initiative

Ronald Cardema, chairman of Du30 Youth, files a letter with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to raise their concern before Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista. Cardema aims to brief the Comelec on June 13 at 10 am. This is about “the numerous violations” of the Comelec’s technology provider, Smartmatic.

Bar Smartmatic for 2019

The group wants Smartmatic barred from providing services in future polls especially in the upcoming 2019 senatorial elections. If not for alleged irregularities committed by Smartmatic, he said the president should have gotten “more than 20 million votes,” not only 16 million, in the 2016 elections. Coincidentally, this is also in line with the sentiments of former Vice President Jejomar Binay’s Camp. They alleged that their records show that he had 10 million voters instead of just 5 million votes.

It is not proper for pro-Liberal Party people to demand for evidence at this time. They are not the right channel. That will come as soon as the preliminary conference for Marcos’ electoral protest is set into motion on July 11 instead of June 21. The fact that there were more than one servers that were not officially approved is already a big lapse on Comelec’s side.

The Du30-Marcos Difference in Votes

The President knows that the 2016 election was the dirtiest ever poll in the country. Despite of that, nobody can contest his victory. His substantial lead ahead of Mar Roxas at more than 5 million votes is out of the question. However, the slim margin between Marcos and Robredo is something that should not be ignored.
