Duterte Confirms Binay’s Revelation against Aquino on Mamasapano – Agrees with Bongbong Marcos to Reinvestigate

Bongbong Marcos

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Former Vice President Jejomar Binay criticizes President Aquino who washed his hands off the botched raid in Mamasapano, Maguindanao, last year. It left 44 Special Action Force (SAF) policemen dead. Duterte recently announces the creation of an independent commission to look into the Mamasapano massacre and challenges former President Benigno Aquino III to answer lingering questions. Bongbong Marcos earlier calls for its reinvestigation.

U.S. Operation

President Duterte claims that the military operation to get Malaysian bomb expert Zulkifli bin Hir, alias Marwan, was actually an operation of the US Central Intelligence Agency. It is denied by the Philippine and US authorities.

Justice for the Dead

The justice for the dead over Mamasapano does not concern only the victims – but most especially to their loved ones left behind. The president does not want them to leave this earth without resolving their ill feelings about their beloved soldier’s death. It is not enough for Aquino to take responsibility, the president said. He has to explain how and why it went wrong, the president added.

Suggestion of Bongbong Marcos

Criminal complaints are filed against 90 respondents, but some of those responsible for the death of the SAF 44 have yet to be identified, discloses Bongbong Marcos. He urges the Justice Department to file charges as appropriated in the investigation but it eventually died down. He that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) should continue its probe and exhaust all efforts to find leads that could point to other suspects in the Mamasapano clash.

When it comes to the welfare of the Filipino people, the masses and the poor, the Binay-Duterte-Marcos alliance goes out of their way to make their lives better. Is this not proof enough?
