President Rodrigo Duterte has been feeling embarrassed every time there’s a foreign casualty from urban terrorism. That;s why, he vowed to increase the number of law enforcers and their salaries – but after his initial reign in the top public office, he realized that there’s no money for all those promises he made during the campaign.
He said to go slowly but surely on the AFP improvements needed but stressed to prioritize the medical public service for AFP soldiers which is a great action amidst all the drastic moves he made in the past.
Another option is to convert BRP Pangulo or BRP Pag-asa into a hospital ship so that soldiers can be treated in conflicted areas and he will just add an operating room so that surgery can be conducted there. He repeated his promise again that in the fight against illegal drugs, that he will go to prison first before them. He will do everything in his power not to allow law enforcers to be jailed just because they followed the President’s orders.
