Filipino Muslim Groups Unite over Sabah Claim – Malaysians not needed for peace

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib was totally disturbed when newly-elected Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said that he is pursuing the Sabah Claim and Najib can’t help but urged Duterte to instead use his time to concentrate on more productive efforts like resolving one of Asia’s longest running insurgencies in the southern Philippines.

Najib added that if the peace deal or BBL between the Philippine government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) was approved by congress that he helped negotiating, then problems with extremists could be easily solved. However, it has been rumored that the MILF head and the new Sultan are now regularly communicating and in one with the Sabah Claim goal. Now, why would the Philippines need a Malaysian negotiator when they can unite among themselves towards a common goal?

Can there be truth in some local reports that kidnapping incidents over the past month or so by the Philippine militant group Abu Sayyaf involving Indonesians and Malaysians off Sabah – are orchestrated by the Malaysians themselves to prevent the Philippines from claiming back Sabah? How true is it that the 72 Billion Dollars allegedly deposited through Ballsy Aquino’s account by the Malaysian government was given to bribe the Aquino government to disregard the Sabah Claim? Is this the reason why outgoing President Ninoy Aquino abandoned the Filipino warriors in favor of the Malaysians when the Royal Sultanate of Sulu’s men attacked Lahad Datu and were murdered by the Malaysian soldiers with Aquino just shrugging his shoulders? The Filipino people deserve the truth and it will be disclosed very soon.
