Hate can Stop Now that Bongbong Marcos Pays the Initial P36 M Recount Deposit

Bongbong Marcos

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Bongbong Marcos is very serious in letting the country’s justice system give the rights of the people by properly counting their votes in the 2016 Vice Presidential elections. Many cannot believe that he was defeated by Leni Robredo by around 200,000 votes only. Today, April 17, 2017, he paid the initial deposit of P36 M just to comply with the Supreme Court resolution as Marcos-Du30 loyalists rally in front of SC building. This is his response to Robredo’s “stop hate” Holy week message.

Rally during Deadline

Marcos and Du30 supporters brave the heat by meeting up at 1:00 PM at the Supreme Court grounds in Padre Faura. Their protest to expedite recount is at 3:00 PM. Bongbong Marcos arrives meeting loyalists and handshakes with them. He then proceeds inside the SC office to settle the payment of the first deposit out of the over 66M fees.

45 Minutes Transaction

It takes only 45 minutes for Bongbong Marcos to pay the P36 M Dues today. Here’s the receipt from the Supreme Court:

Robredo’s Easter Message

In Robredo’s Easter message, she highlighted the Risen Christ’s message of “hope and courage” and urged Filipinos to live up to “what He stands for and what He represents.”

People Need Action not Words

Bongbong Marcos is lucky to be loaded with cash to afford such a hefty deposit right on time. A VP’s salary cannot match up to what he has to pay – but it is important for him that the people are not stripped of their rights to vote and be counted properly. This is a mere sacrifice than just talking about God and not doing his teachings. Perhaps, hate can ease up now that there’s light at the end of the tunnel for Marcos’ electoral protest.
