The US President ordered the Syrian Air Field bombing after determining that it carried out the Salin attack against their own people in the rebel area. This comes shortly after two alleged ISIS members were nabbed in the Philippines. Some Russian military men were in the US air strike target but were not injured. Can this be the start of a war as challenged by Vladimir Putin who defended the government of Bashar al-Assad?

Kuwaiti Husayn Al-Dhafiri, and Syrian Rahaf Zina, who claimed to be Al-Dhafiri’s wife, were arrested on March 25 in Taguig, Philippines. Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre said the arrest was made possible with the help of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation. Al-Dhafiri, with alias Abu Muslim Al Kuwaiti, is on the watchlist of the Kuwaiti government. Zina was identified as the widow of Abu Jandal Al-Kuwaiti, the second highest commander of ISIS killed in the Middle East. Al-Dhafiri and Zina were involved in the manufacture of explosives. They are reportedly planning a bombing in Kuwait and possibly the Philippines.

Syrian state-run media said that America, referred to as their enemy targeted a military base in the center of the country during a dawn attack that led to losses. The attack caused significant damage to the Shayrat air base and some casualties. So, if US happens to start a war with Russia, it is not known yet which side the Filipinos are on.
