Fake news and the so-called “post-truth dominate the world not only today but even during the Martial Law Days. The only difference is, nowadays, it’s easy to seek for the truth with the IT technology. Young Filipinos should fight to win against misinformation in the past that affects the present. Numerous events and alliances during the EDSA revolution celebrations show all the truths that people should know especially when it deals with the Binay, Honasan, Marcos, ad Du30’s camps.

[VIDEO]: Former Marcos propagandist Primitivo Mijares’ book, ‘The Conjugal Dictatorship of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos’ was relaunched Tuesday, February 21.
Authoritative Accounts do not Count in a Democratic Country
Ateneo de Manila University professor Jo-Ed Tirol talks about wars at the relaunch of Primitivo Mijares’ The Conjugal Dictatorship book. The irony is that authoritative accounts of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos’ rule are too good to be true – given the fact that the Marcoses are advocates of democracy. He is able to fight communism and preserve the democratic rule even until the end of his reign in a986.
New Age Wars and thoughts about Bongbong Marcos
There are two wars in this country, explains Tirol. One is the war on drugs and the war on memory, he added. He finds it unbelievable that Bongbong Marcos could almost win the Vice Presidency and his father’s burial is made possible at the Heroes’ Cemetery. This is because he is one of the few who minsinterprets Marcos’ political will during the martial rule era.

No Dictator in the Philippines
The word dictator attached to Marcos’ name is not even appropriate. Theres’s no dictator in a democratic country. However, there are politicians who are propagating the communism idealism. Not following the mandate of a president elected throug majority votes like President Du30 for example is one example of a communist move. The electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos against Vice President Leni Robredo is another thing – that a political party would do everything to disrespect people’s rights to choose their own leader.
Bihomadu or the Binay, Honasan, Marcos, and Du30 Alliance
The official celebration of the EDSA People Power in February 24 at Camp Aguinaldo is a gathering of the Bihomadu force which is the alliance of Binay, Honasan, Marcos, and Du30 camps for unity. Binay Camp leaders, Pastor Boy Saycon and Hilario Andes who are instrumental in the gathering of evidence of cheating incidents by the Liberal Party during elections for Bongbong Marcos are active in the ceremony. Du30’s Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Menandro Guevarra graces the event. Senator Gringo Honasan who leads the military during Edsa 1 and former VP Jejomar Binay, a martial law human rights lawyer are physically present. Also at the Quirino Grandstand Freedom Celebration on Ferbruary 25, Marcos loyalists volunteer to help Du30’s committee on food. They all support Bongbong Marcos’ return to the executive office. This is more than enough proofs as to who are cool or not for millennials. as far as democracy and good governance are concerned
