Outgoing V.P. Binay: Sad about Comelec’s Bypassing the Law on SOCE

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Outgoing Vice President Jejomar Binay who just recently did the transition process with the team of incoming Vice President Leni Robredo was very sad about Comelec’s bypassing the law by granting Liberal Party’s request for extension on the SOCE filing. The Comelec en banc just ruled to extend it until June 30, 2016.

Four out of 3 voted in favor of the extension explaining that they do not want to hinder the alleged will of the people when in fact, there’s no basis at all if that’s the real mandate of Filipino voters.

Among the three commissioners who did not vote for the extension is Comelec Chief Andres Bautista. Is he playing it safe since the four already get the majority? To be reminded, it was Bautista who was conniving with Smartmatic that allegedly took 6 million votes out of Binay and 3 million votes from Duterte – with details disclosed in the electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos that would soon be exposed.
