Marcos Mourning Nearing Closure with Duterte-Bongbong Alliance

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
The late President Ferdinand Marcos will soon be buried at the “Libingan ng mga Bayani” as planned by President-elect Rodrigo Duterte hoping that this will bring closure to the Marcos family and the nation as a whole. The late President Ferdinand Marcos will soon be buried at the “Libingan ng mga Bayani” as planned by President-elect Rodrigo Duterte hoping that this will bring closure to the Marcos family and the nation as a whole.

Speaking with reporters, Bongbong Marcos said that laying his father at the heroes’ cemetery would bring closure rather than division. As Bongbong addressed the press; “This will bring closure not only to the Marcos family but to the nation as well,” he said during a Quezon City news briefing.

Marcos’ meeting with President-elect Rodrigo Duterte highlights the Marcos burial eyed in September this year and Bongbong thanking the president for his plan to bury his father at the heroes’ cemetery or Libingan ng mga Bayani. This calls for a celebration for both and as reported, it was indeed a fun and relaxing night with lots of jokes but very productive.

Mar Roxas’ Revenge on LP Sends Robredo into Wonderland?

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Just prior to the May 9, 2016 election, outgoing President Noynoy Aquino confirmed in a Liberal Party meeting that since Mar Roxas did not pick up in the surveys, they are dropping their support on him and channel their resources into Grace Poe’s presidential bid.

Now Liberal Party failed to comply with the SOCE submission on time. LP is one of the three political parties that failed to submit their SOCE or expenditure reports to the Comelec. As per the law, the non-compliance will jeopardize their winning candidates – and this includes Vice President-elect Leni Robredo who is already preparing to move into the Coconut Palace occupied by predecessor Jojo Binay. If Mar Roxas will not speed this up or the Comelec will retain its stand despite pressure, Leni could probably hold office in Wonderland and keeps on wonder why she’s not sitting in Coconut Palace.

The law and the resolution state that; winning candidates who failed to submit their SOCE on time won’t be able to assume office; Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said. However, there’s no decission yet if the 14 days extension requested by the party involved will be granted or not by the Comelec since the law clearly said otherwise – and their tolerating the request can surely cause outrage by the majority of Filipino people who are already fedup with Comelec’s connivance with the outgoing ruling party.

Roxas’ Failure to Submit SOCE due to Scanning or Forging of Receipts?

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Rep. Barry Gutierrez, spokesperson of ruling coalition, announced that Mar Roxas requested for 14 days extension from the Comelec to file the missing SOCE or statement of contributions and expenditures during their election campaign in the recent national election. This has been acknowledged by the Comelec saying that the extension will be discussed during their meeting with Roxas’ team.

They cited the reason for the delay the scanning of voluminous number of receipts, to comply with the rules for transparency. However, this explaination caused many people to raise their eyebrows. No matter how many you need to scan, the 30 days period from after election is enough if this has been prioritized just to comply with the law – not unless Roxas’team need to forge or find acceptable receipts to be attaached to the SOCE.

This resulted to the speculation that the failure was intentional in the part of Roxas – since he did not win and his running mate emerged victorious after their alleged mass fraudulent electoral activities that will be itemized with matching physical evidences through the electoral protest of Bongbong Marcos come June 28, 2016.

Bongbong Met Rody: Talk about Marcos Burial and Cabinet Post

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Outgoing Senator Bongbong Marcos, son of the late and one of the greatest Philippine Presidents if not the greatest, Ferdinand E. Marcos was in Davao City last Friday night and met with President-elect Rodrigo Duterte in a casual but fun manner as how Mr. President wanted his meetings to be.

President Duterte chose to be quiet on what they discussed since some Media people are only waiting for his statements to be twisted – especially when it involves sensitive issues.Among the matters discussed informally, was the possible September burial of Marcos’ father, Ferdinand Marcos who ruled during te Philippine’s so-called golden era this year as Duterte promised during his campaign.

Many Martial Law activists were saddened by the news to bury Marcos in the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani or Heroes’ Cemetery – but him winning the presidency is a clear indication of what the majority of Filipinos wanted. A cabinet post was also dicussed but only if it will not hamper the electoral protest filed by Bongbong Marcos on massive election fraud by the Liberal Party that favored rival Leni Robredo for the Vice Presidency.

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
It was seen all over the news after the May 9, 2016 election that Ka Eduardo Manalo, INC Leader appealed to the Comelec asking where did their votes for Bongbong Marcos went? He was referring to areas where there are local INCs but the precincts there got zero votes as reported by their own members to the Iglesia.

However, it died down after the Iglesia announced to their members in their church gatherings or pagsamba that their responsibility ends after voting – but this did not stop the members concerned from giving their testimonies.

The witnesses of Pastor Boy Saycon when they confessed in the senate on server manipulation were mostly INC members. Complainants of the missing votes in Basilan particularly in Bohenange Elementary School in Lamitan were also Iglesia ni Cristo members. Our informer told us that the affidavits from INC members who voted for Bongbong Marcos were overwhelming. Based on the tradition of INC, when multitude of members are participating in a cause, they were normally briefed already by their local leader on the acceptable manner of protesting.
