It is a big social media issue when the President disclosed that Kris Aquino appeals to him not to put her brother, ex-President Noynoy Aquino over the Mamasapano deadly encounter that costs the lives of 44 Special Armed Force’s men. The president assures her that he’s not out to find faults but he just wanted to know the truth.

Bongbong Marcos Reveals the Cover-Up of Pnoy’s Lapses
Bongbong Marcos calls for the reinvestigation of the Mamasapano incident. A leaked recording his discussion with Pnoy’s Peace Adviser Teresita Quintos-Deles shows that Aquino was very lenient or not really functioning as commander-in-chief. It can be that he is just incompetent in handling the situation but still orders it to proceed despite the danger. It is just like feeding the soldiers to the wolves.
Shot One By One in the Head
Marcos’ investigation shows that the SAF44 really has no back-up or defense in place – or else they will not be shot one by one in the head. Aquino was widely criticized for allowing his friend General Purisima to oversee the police operation despite being suspended for a graft case. Mar Roxas, DILG Secretary, and General Espina, PNP CEO at that time are also bypassed, thus the reason for not having a military coordination despite the sensitivity of the operation.

The President Awaits for the Ombudsman
The President does not push through with the creation of a commission that re-investigate the Mamasapano incident. He explains that he would rather wait for the Office of the Ombudsman to finish its investigation. This can avoid multiple incongruities especially if one finding contrasts with the other.
The MILF and BIFF or the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters that are involved in the Mamasapano massacre are main groups fighting for the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao independence from the Republic of the Philippines. This is stated in the previous Bangsamoro Law that Pnoy pushes to pass but intercepted by Bongbong Marcos and Senator Juan Ponce Enrile in the Senate. They are now declared as terrorists by the new administration after the failed ceasefire and peace talks.
