Right Political Attitude: Filipino-American supporters of Robredo grateful to Ramos and Binay

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
Former President Fidel Ramos denies that he is a political king-maker. He just acts like an older brother to President Rodrigo Duterte. The Philippines must unite now to progress. The President must also embrace the opposition.

[VIDEO:] Ramos discloses that the very first thing a President could do for unity is to reach out. Robredo and Duterte should work as a team.

Binay’s Kind Transition at the OVP

Vice President Leni Robredo was overwhelmed by the then outgoing Vice President Jejomar Binay’s hospitality when turning over the office to her and her team. The transition went very smoothly and the new VP only have nice words for Binay.

Bulk Budget Left for the Vice President’s Projects

Vice President Jejomar Binay leaves the bulk of the ₱500 million budget for the office this year to his successor, Leni Robredo’s chief of staff said.

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has spent less than 20 percent of its budget for 2016, leaving Robredo with enough money for the remaining six months of the year, said Benjie Martinez.

Filipino-American Supporters of VP Leni Robredo

The Filipino-American Community of the United States headed by Billionaire, Atty. Loida Nicolas Lewis can only be happy with the efforts of Ramos and Binay to make Robredo comfortable under the Duterte administration. She was recently invited to speak in the U.S.

The Right Political Attitude

The right political attitude must not be dependent to the political affiliations of winning candidates. When they assume their new position, they should all function as a team. Forget about the rivalries during the election. Go forward to the improvement of the country together. The Philippines after all – is still lucky to have politicians like Ramos and Binay.
