Marcos suggests to just explain why the undervotes mostly went to Robredo. He then urges the VP to cut the crap and just admit that they really cheated during the 2016 election.

Ballot Discrepancies Election 2016

Weighed in the balance and found wanting, the excuses are so feeble and insulting to the intelligence of the Filipino electorate as it provides them too little too late. The squares should not be there because, during the source code review, no boxes were shown. If ever, the boxes must have been added after the source code review which is against the law.

Macalintal’s Lies

Atty. Macalintal has declared that he is confident that the results of the recount will be the same because no election protest has ever been successful. He seemed to have forgotten that he is the lawyer of Protestants in three election cases in Nueva Ecija, Leyte, and Bulacan. In those cases, he is moving for the nullification of the proclamation of the winning candidates alleging among others defective vote counting machines and questionable transmissions, which are some of the issues also raised by former Senator Marcos himself in his election protest.

Misleading Protests

By asserting that the recount will not change the results of the elections, is Atty. Macalintal now saying that he misled these clients of his into filing frivolous and baseless protests? And if indeed Atty. Macalintal is confident that the results of the election will be the same, why did his client file a counter-selection protest covering 13 provinces against Senator Marcos? Atty. Macalintal’s arguments seem to be more and more confusing and contradictory as the days pass.

Trampled Rights

They have trampled on the right of the Filipino people and deprived them of their duly elected vice president. Now two years on, they are continuing their web of lies even in the face of direct and solid evidence of rampant cheating. This is the grandest and longest deception ever committed against the Filipino people.

Bongbong Marcos Pointed Out Square Marks, Dots on his Name in Images as Codes for Election Undervotes

election

welcome By:

Elena Grace Flores

The technical and legal team of Bongbong Marcos’ Camp reviewed the decrypted ballot images in Camarines Norte for a week after receiving them from the PET. They discovered a lot of discrepancies in the soft copies of ballots during the last election. Marcos pointed out in a press conference that his votes were either not counted or considered undervotes. There were more than three million undervotes in the vice presidential race,” he stressed. Marcos presented some images of ballots from polling precincts to prove that the voting was manipulated in favor of Vice President Leni Robredo. He assailed the presence of questionable squares and dots on his name.

[VIDEO]: In a Press Conference Bongbong Marcos shows how the soft copies of the ballots differ from the actual hard copies of voters.

Square Instead of Oval

Marcos questioned the existences of squares in the decrypted images which are oval in the actual ballots. Those were the spaces provided for voters to indicate the candidates that they voted. This is a new feature that the Comelec and Smartmatic added in the system. They did not inform the candidates of the presence of this feature in the images, he explained. He believes the Comelec should explain such anomaly. The substitution of the oval shapes in the ballot with squares in particular.

Undervotes in Robredo’s Favor

Marcos wondered why the votes in some precincts all votes went to Robredo even though two or more candidates were shaded in the ballots. These should be classified as undervotes. When it comes to our opponent, they counted for her the votes that were for the other candidates,” he added.

A Dot under Marcos’ Name

It is also very obvious that under Marcos’ name is a dot. This kind of vote is in the undervote count. Codes represent a command in the transmission of information. This is also a means of keeping the information secret. The letters and numbers are normally configured with dots and dashes in a digital program that can form a square.

Evidence of Digital Election Cheating

As obvious as it can be, Robredo insists that the impending recount of votes in connection with the electoral protest filed against her by Marcos would only affirm her victory in the May 2016 vice presidential race. She even denied Marcos’ allegation that they are delaying the process. Not satisfied, she also returned the blame on Marcos. Now, it is clear to him why PET let him pay for the decryption and give the copies to Robredo immediately while he is still waiting for the rest. Perhaps, they need some time to alter those records.

Never Forgotten

Unlike Robredo, the former Senator inspires Filipinos with their own sense of values. He stresses that the gallant SAF44 may be fallen but they are not forgotten. Their demise must remind the people that without the peace process, civil war is likely. Filipinos killing their own kind is the most painful thing to watch, he said. Marcos’ patriotism appeals to the public greatly, making Robredo the most hated VP as she continues to ruin the country’s image with her unfounded conclusions. February 2018 is a much-awaited event for the start of the recount.

Bongbong Marcos Contradicts Robredo’s Media Spread of Darkness Rumor with Message of Honor

media

welcome By:

Elena Grace Flores

Many Filipinos are in disgust after hearing Vice President Leni Robredo who claims that darkness envelops the country. This happens during the 72nd anniversary of the Liberal Party recently. She calls on members of her group to continue fighting for their beliefs. As usual, the LP’s loyal media made some major stunts internationally after their past fake news did not work locally. Publications in the US and Japan primarily picked up her statements that put the country in a bad light. This is contrary to Bongbong Marcos’ message of honor, patriotism, camaraderie, and service to the people during the 3rd anniversary of the Mamasapano massacre that the previous administration of Robredo’s party is responsible for.

[VIDEO]: The Untold Story of the Gallant SAF 44

History Repeats Itself

Robredo also laments that history seems to repeat itself, noting that the party’s membership declines similar to the time of her rival’s father. Several LP members are already in Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan. This is the party of President Rodrigo Du30, who won a landslide victory in the 2016 presidential race. She remains insecure to Bongbong Marcos whom she only had a hairline margin in the VP race. The process of the recount for the questionable post is now ongoing. Ballot boxes from Camarines Sur, her bailiwick are about to be transported to Manila.

Out of Touch with Realities

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque disagrees with Robredo. He says that the vice president’s remarks are “completely out of touch with the existing realities.”  Roque cites Gallup International polls that suggest the Philippines as the third happiest country in the world. It is also the fifth highest country in the economic optimism index. He also cites Social Weather Stations surveys that indicate 96 percent entered the new year with hope and fewer Filipino families consider themselves poor.

Majority of the People’s Approval

Roque said the results of an SWS survey conducted last quarter indicated that more than eight out of 10 Filipinos trust Du30 while a Pulse Asia poll suggested that the President is the most approved and most trusted among the country’s top officials. Satisfaction with the current administration remains excellent based on the SWS poll recently conducted, he added.

VP Leni Robredo Accuses Bongbong Marcos of Spinning Election 2016 Stories

Election 2016

welcome By:

Elena Grace Flores

Vice President Leni Robredo prays that the legitimacy issue of her position can be resolved at the soonest possible time.  She said that Bongbong Marcos is given the opportunity to spin stories since election 2016 that are false if this is allowed to be prolonged. There won’t be any more space for him to make up stories should the recount in February 2018 prove otherwise, she added. It is remembered, however, that it was her camp that imposes delaying tactics on Marcos’ electoral protest by filing motions for his every move while he seeks for a recount.

Youtube Video by Rappler

[VIDEO]: Vice President Leni Robredo’s camp accuses former senator Bongbong Marcos of ‘misleading’ the Supreme Court. The PET sits as the Presidential Electoral Tribunal. Marcos allegedly includes unregistered voters in his list of proposed witnesses for the electoral protest.

Recount Confidence

Robredo is very sure that there was no cheating on her part during the May election 2016. She added that the request of Marcos for the recount of ballots would not change anything. The result of the elections for vice president was fair and honest, she stressed. This is despite the evidence from the different sectors that vote manipulations were evident. The case of the Iglesia ni Kristo voters who are into block voting obedience just did not tally where Marcos got zero votes in ARMM precincts where the church’s existence can’t be denied.

Cooperative with Supreme Court?

Robledo claims that her camp is cooperative with the Supreme Court. This is clearly a lie. Until now, she has not paid the second trance of her counter-protest fee to complete the total of P15 million in two tranches payable in April and on July 14. She only paid the April due and filed a motion for the balance. She also falsely accused Marcos of giving the list of 8,000 fraud witnesses where some of them are unregistered voters. Too bad for her that all witnesses are actually election watchers and their legality is not Marcos’ fault but the Comelec’s  if ever. Precinct watchers are not required to be registered voters in the first place.

Close Watch on Election 2016 Ballot Boxes

She said that her lawyers and watchers are on guard to prevent untoward incidents from happening during the recount. Robredo can pray all she wants to build up her already deteriorating reputation. Nevertheless, accusing anyone of twisting something that she is guilty of can be disastrous to her current status. Besides, Marcos is ready to spare some of his resources to let the truth come out on who really is the real Vice President.

Recount in Pilot Areas

A total of 537 ballot boxes from the first and second districts of Camarines Sur are expected to be collected today for the start of the vote recount in February 2018. Camarines Sur, Iloilo and Negros Oriental are the three pilot provinces up for the recount as selected by Marcos.

Lengthy Electoral Protest Works for Bongbong Marcos’ Bid in 2022 Election

protest

welcome By:

Elena Grace Flores

Bongbong Marcos swears from the start of his electoral protest that those who are responsible for the fraudulent 2016 election will be answerable.  Meanwhile, his lawyer, Atty. George Erwin Garcia accuses Robredo’s camp of delaying the process. They raise issues that are not part of the current development of the case. “Good thing the tribunal really wanted to open the ballot boxes because they really wanted to find out the truth,” Garcia said.

PET Disregards Robredo’s Questions

“The Tribunal is hell-bent in proceeding with the case…It’s good that the Tribunal disregarded the issues raised by the other parties,” Garcia added. Robredo’s camp, on the other hand, said the PET has not resolved yet pending motions filed by both camps. This is a clear indication that despite the Supreme Court’s decision during the preliminary conference, Macalintal’s team won’t quit their line of questioning because it’s the only way to prolong the said protest.

Annulment of Millions of votes

Marcos filed the protest on June 29 last year. He claims that the camp of Robredo cheated in the automated polls in May last year. He sought annulment of about a million votes cast in three provinces. These were in Lanao del Sur, Basilan and Maguindanao. In his protest, Marcos contested the poll results from 132,446 precincts in 39,221 clustered precincts covering 27 provinces and cities. Garica stresses that the slim margin can easily be proven by just recounting the votes from the identified key provinces.

Priority Recount

In his preliminary conference brief, Marcos named Camarines Sur, Iloilo, and Negros Oriental as the three priority provinces for the recount. Robredo filed her answer in August last year and also filed counter-protest and questioned the poll results from over 30,000  precincts in several provinces where Marcos won. They cannot accept that Marcos three key cities are not the ones earlier contested. The nondisclosure is part of the Protestant’s strategy.

Effects of External Developments for 2022 Election

But the tribunal, in a ruling recently this year, it junked Robredo’s plea and proceeded with the case after finding of sufficiency in form and substance in the protest. Robredo only won the vice presidential race with 14,418,817 votes or 263,473 more than Marcos who got 14,155,344 votes. That is easy to prove, according to Garcia. Coupled with the COMELEC Chair’s current hidden wealth accusation by his estranged wife, Patricia Bautista, it is already embedded in the people’s minds that the Liberal Party where Robredo belongs, is really punishable for the dirtiest ever 2016 election. Even if Marcos’ electoral protest won’t be resolved by 2022, he can be assured that he’ll get the majority’s votes for President by then.
