Why do the Oligarchs Try to Demonize Bongbong Marcos like his Father?

welcome By:

Elena Grace Flores

The oligarchs hate leaders like the late President Ferdinand Marcos. Marcos Sr. is an anti-oligarch during his regime. It was when the Philippines is rich but the oligarchs suffer. Influential families like the Aquinos demonize him as a “Dictator.” They ride into the EDSA mutiny. Convert it as people’s revolution through media propaganda to overthrow him.  Marcos and his rule become so black, that overshadow his accomplishments. To date, the political prostitute of such powerful faction even has the nerve to tell Bongbong  Marcos to refrain from filing a motion. This is after riding on his ballot decryptions without paying a single cent. The VP recount is due in February 2018. Filipinos must know this scenario to understand why the Marcos detractors have to taint his whole family as the tyrant, corrupt, and inhuman they portray their patriarch to be.

[VIDEO]: This video clarifies why the oligarchs in the Philippines hate President Rodrigo Roa Du30.

Oligarchs versus Du30

Many of the Filipinos are brainwashed by these oligarchs. They reign during the terms of the Aquinos. This paves the way for selective economic progress, widespread criminality, illegal drugs trade, and corruption. Until now, these bias media are still in existence to attack and destroy the same type of leader as the late Marcos in the person of President Du30.

Demonization of the Marcoses

There is a practical reason for Marcos’ demonization. It was a major project by both the Communist Party of the Philippines and the oligarchy. This advanced their respective agendas. The communists’ objective was to expand the organization and get sympathizers in a country which is extremely anti-communist. The only way to achieve that was to portray the Marcos regime as a ruthless, fascist state. They are doing it again with the Du30 administration.

Why Include Bongbong Marcos?

Why would the oligarchs want to demonize Bongbong Marcos also? By doing so, it can conceal the greedy class rule if they can prevent the return of the bloodline of their number one enemy. It prevents people from looking at the real basic problems of the nation if no leader can emerge who knows the real score, which is the oligarchs’ unequal hold over productive assets.

Caution to President Du30

President Du30 once referred to oligarchs as the nation’s problem. He seems to have a good grip on the country’s situation. However, as powerful as they can be, he knows that Bongbong Marcos can do better to balance their interests for the welfare of the country as a whole. That’s why their detractors are trying to do everything they can to block this.

Senator Zubiri Did Not Get to Respond to Lopez – SEA Games Duty Call?

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores

Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri has no response to Gina Lopez’s very vocal criticisms for not voting her as DENR Secretary.  He is just too quiet. Instead, it’s announced that he is up and running as the chair for the organizing committee of SEA Games in PH for 2019. Note that it is a presidential appointment.

Youtube video from; Elena Grace Flores
[VIDEO]: Despite Gina Lopez’s criticism with Migz Zubiri, the latter moves on with SEA Games duties.

 A Man of Few Words

Senator Migz Zubiri as he is fondly called is a man of few words. He has shown this during his near fist fight with Senator Antonio Trillanes IV. He said; “I did not become a world champion of arnis for nothing.” That strongly warns Trillanes as they were pacified by the boxing champion himself, Senator Manny Pacquaio.

Lopez’s Dismay

Lopez stressed that she was particularly dismayed with Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri who is a known environment advocate. He ended up voting against her. “He is supposed to be an environmentalist….I was really quite disappointed in him,” she said. She is also not happy with some House members in the CA.

Too Much Respect

Zubiri surely has utmost respect for Lopez. This is why he does not reciprocate the hate message. There is also nothing to apologize for because it looks like he voted following his conscience. His environmental strategy is quite different from her who as other senators think, she has the tendency to be authoritarian. He is more into strategic planning and teamwork with other sectors.

Additional Duty

The good senator is actually now the chairman of the organizing committee of the Southeast Asian Games which the Philippines will host in 2019. The President issued the appointment just about the same time the CA rejection of Lopez was announced. This is according to Philippine Sports Commission chairman William Ramirez. It auspiciously signals the start of the preparations of the country’s hosting of the biennial event. That should stop him from giving attention to negative comments.

Response to Rappler’s Lopez on Marcos at the Libingan: Visit or Story? Why Visit a day after the Strongman’s Burial if the Intention is Purely to Visit the Dead?

welcome By: Elena Grace Flores
In response to Leslie V. Advincula-Lopez’s article at the Rappler criticizing the srict security measures and the lack of alternative transport for the security process is understandable. Her frustrations are real but given that she is visiting with older people, they should have considered that a very popular strongman just got buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani with lots of protests going on. Why visit a relative there a day after the said burial? Is there anything she wanted to check about just for this article? She should have the heart and mind to decide what is right for her family and not insist on her story.

AFP Authoritarian Heritage?

Lopez might be right in sayinng that even after 30 years have already passed, the wounds left by the Martial Law years are still fresh in the minds of the alleged victims or their families, especially those who had never recovered the bodies of their loved ones. They did not have such closure as what the Marcoses experienced after the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos was buried there. However, putting this blame of the AFP’s shoulders is unfair. She should know the protocol of the military and question the President himself as their commander-in-chief.

Dignity of the Fallen Heroes at the LNMB

This is very just an opinion of Ms. Lopez that; “While the fallen heroes of LNMB died with dignity, the humiliating things that the commander in chief is imposing on those who were left behind is actually robbing these people of dignity and self-respect. It is cowardice to hide behind the cloak of the overly used phrase that “we are just following orders.” She should understand that President Rodrigo Duterte is just imlementing the law of the land and ruling imposed by the Supreme Court in response to the petition of the Marcoses to allow the burial as supported by the majority of Filipinos. She should check the facts that there are more pro-Marcoses than the misled anti-Marcoses based on the turnout of votes during last election with the Binay-Santiago-Duterte alliance for Bongbong Marcos as future President. Perhap, she cannot swallow that ultimate reality!

Bad Timing for the Visit

If Lopez and her family is really into the visit, why do it a day after Marcos’ burial? As a journalist, she should have known the facts that the situation is pretty intense even until now. Why insist in pursuing that if it’s the convenience she’s after. For sure there will be other reasons. Perhaps to throw criticisms at the Duterte administration and criticize the Marcos family further.

Story or Visit?

Their decision to make such visit tha the Heroes’ Cemetery boils down to two things. Either they are really into the visit that they would bear anything to get that done or write a trending story that she obviously needs. Either to voice out her anti-Marcos sentiments or fill up the publication’s requirement?
