The yellow stewards are rest assured that their greatest hope for power resurrection, Leni Robredo is now politically dead. The one roaming around speech venues nowadays is a mere ghost who cannot accept her untimely fall – even before the “Recount” call in front of the Supreme Court allegedly on April 17, 2017, organized by Bongbong Marcos loyalists.

Replace VP Rally
The rally Palit Bise or Replace VP Rally drew a sizeable crowd of at least 5,000 to 6,000 patriots. It is the first ever move in the country’s history to demand that a vice president who is supposed to be just an idle spare-tire—give up her post up. This is unprecedented and historic.
Organized via Social Media
The rally was organized only through social media that makes it even more groundbreaking. “Palit-bise” which means “Change or replace the Vice President” was to mock Robredo’s false claim into a United Nations gathering that the police practices a ruthless “palit-ulo” scheme. She alleged that the police arrested an illegal drug suspect’s relatives if the criminal could not be found.
Robredo is not in a government post which she can use to repair the damage she has done, She got fired earlier as head of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council because she angered the president so much. Perhaps she could have portrayed herself as having given hundreds of thousands of poor Filipinos decent housing. That can salvage her from her UN fiasco. Her reputation as too eager to be President quickly that she bad-mouthed him painted the country black.
In politics, one instance that triggers so much outrage against a politician is irreparable. That is only one assembly administered by the president’s supporters. There are still many anti-Robredo groups that have yet to stage their protests. It is announced recently via Facebook that Marcos loyalists will bring their “recount” case in front of the Supreme Court building on April 17, 2017. What now Mrs. Robredo?
